Footages

An in-depth guide on how to use Footages tab:


After clicking on Footages tab you will see a few things on the left side:


  1. Templates (click to toggle the menu):

  • In this menu you can select between a few pre-made templates that change what kind of transitions your video uses.
  • You can also create your own template and apply it to all videos you make.


  1. Animations (click to toggle the menu):

  • In this menu you can select between 2D and 3D animations for your video as well as adjust the speed and amplitude parameters with a slider (for better understanding play with the parameters a bit to find your sweet spot).


  1. The Footages themselves:


Here are a few things you have to keep in mind:


Footages


  • Update button:


Update button


Clicking the update button opens up a window in which you are able to change the footage by modifying the prompt and selecting an image style as well as browse through some stock images/videos or import your own asset.


  • Motion button:

Clicking the motion button opens up a window in which you are able to change and select what kind of motion do you want for the selected footage.


  • Transition button:

Clicking the transition button opens up a window in which you are able to change and select what kind of transition do you want for the selected footage.


  • Sound icon:


Sound effects


Clicking the sound button opens up a windows in which you are able to change and select what kind of sound effect do you want for the selected footage. Top slider lets you adjust the volume of the sound effect.


  • Quick select (bottom right corner arrow):

Clicking the quick select extends the footage window giving you an option to select between some images and videos that correspond to the initial prompt given.


  • Download directly / Save as:

Clicking the left side button lets you download directly while the right side button give you an option to save as...


  • Adding new footage:

Clicking the "+ New" button, lets you add a new footage.

After clicking the "+ Add footage" button a new footage window will appear, from there you have to click on the update button and select the asset that will represent that footage segment.


To give new footage some time length you have to apply some text to it and you do that by clicking the UP and DOWN arrows just like this:

Keep in mind that the UP arrow will push the text to above footage and the DOWN arrow will push the text to below footage.


  • Removing existing footage:


To completely remove a footage segment simply use the UP and DOWN arrows to remove all the text from selected footage segment.
